Kendra Burton serves as Executive Director for State Relations in the Office of Government and Community Engagement. In this role, Kendra represents ASU before elected officials and policymakers at the State Capitol. Prior to joining ASU, Kendra worked six and a half for Kyrsten Sinema, first as Senior District Adviser in the U.S. House of Representatives, and then as Director of Outreach in the U.S. Senate, serving as the Senator’s liaison to local stakeholders. A native Arizonan and lifelong Sun Devil, Kendra graduated from Arizona State University in 2004. She lives in Phoenix with her young son.
